This place is so good. As a visitor to Sydney we were a bit tired of going to the same old places and came across The Butler by chance as we were staying across the road. The welcome, views and decor put us in the right mood immediately and the cocktail list and lunchtime meal were so good we went back for dinner the following night. Will definitely be back for more friendly service, cracking cocktails and amazing fare. Thanks team

We had such a wonderful time at The Butler. The view from the back patio was exceptional and the service was good. Their tacos are the winner, followed by miso eggplants and the duck. We didn’t give a five star since several times we had trouble to get attention from the waiters and the scalops were a bit too dry. But overall experience was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful views to the city in such a nice neighbourhood. The place offers sitting in or outdoors, with a good selection of cocktails and wines (even by the glass). The menu brings lots of different flavours in small portions, but a good way to try new things.

We had been before with friends and loved it, so went back together for an early dinner. Beautiful sunset views from the rear deck. We had the skirt steak tacos, octopus tacos, and could not miss the lamb shoulder and eggplant salad (a must). Followed up with desserts. The lamb is far too big for two, which we knew, so the rest came home with us for a later date. Awesome cocktails too. HIGHLY recommended.

A must visit. Food was absolutely divine. I’d recommend the kingfish aguachile, incredible flavour and textural pairings result in a perfectly balanced dish. We were treated to an incredible special for the mains, pan seared scallops on jerusalem artichoke puree, topped with black truffle and caviar. Drinks were delicious, a great range of delicious non alcoholic options as well. If this wasn’t good enough, the eyes are treated to a perfect view of sydney’s skyline.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. We both had such a good experience and the food was delicious. We got the lamb (VIP style) for our main and it was YUM! Highly recommend but definitely go on an empty stomach.
