One of the restaurants in the food court at Melbourne Central Mall. The Thai food is delicious but doesn’t meet expectations, especially the Pad Thai which isn’t tasty, just like fried noodles. It’s relatively pricily.

Food portions were good and the order didn’t take much time ( I think probably 10-15 mins). Taste was nice, food was served hot. We were a large group and had ordered 8 dishes. Service is ok and you can’t expect much as it’s in a food court and not a dine dedicated tables styles restaurant. There were good options for vegetarians and plant based protein as well. Don’t ordered their lime drink it’s too sweet and seems that they dont use fresh limes (may be concentrate).

I tried this today and had satay with pork belly. The service was quite quick and the pork was tender however, the satay sauce was quite watery and thin. Portion size was pretty good and overall taste was not too bad but it was more expensive than a restaurant which is not great for a food court.

I started reading the reviews AFTER I order my food and was genuinely worried, but I was glad that mine was a better pleasant experience

The tall girl with black hair at the Emporium food court was extremely rude to me. I will post this on Chinese platform as well. The manager was nice but the workers there were bullies. Please give them some proper training in attitude and manner. Yesterday was the second time I went there. I can’t eat spicy food, the first time I had pai thai it wasn’t spicy at all, but the one I ordered yesterday was too spicy I couldn’t eat it. So I asked them nicely if I could have another one that’s not spicy. And the workers there were rude and didn’t listen to my explanation at all. I had to call the manager and explain again, she was very nice and helpful. And when the tall girl with black hair gave me the non-spicy one, she said” You can get free food today but you can’t do this again to get free food next time.” As if I didn’t pay and beg them for food. Definitely the most disgusting and traumatic experience I’ve ever had in any restaurants.

I really do like food court here, so many varieties of food. Thailander has a great variety of food and services( vegan or vegetarian). Good options for everyone. Really recommend.

Flat noodle dishes: noodles all broken and stuck together in clumps. Too oily. Not enough veggies and proteins mixed in. Used to be much better.
