Where can you find a $5 or $7 lunch? Well this is the place. Hit and miss though. Food is prepared daily but some are not as great, especially the sushi. The other noodles/rice meal are fowned upon (too oily for my taste). It’s only the noodle salad I found to be OK. For a $5 price, it is a good and quick lunch especially if you are in a rush. Hopefully they start improving the quality and consistency of their food.

Agree with the guy that said the bad reviews are from the previous place. Since the new ownership, this place has been a go to for me! $7.50 lunches are great value and the sweet and sour pork is my favourite. It’s great for people who like early lunch as well because they are ready even at like 11am in the morning.

This place is fine. All the reviews pertain to their older location with limited space and different staff nearly a year ago. It’s changed, and while the food isn’t spectacular, it’s on you to expect proportional quality from what you pay for. For $5 it’s actually really good. Those “food quality” photos? Cognitive bias. No issues from here.

It’s not great. Ordered the udon, was not as pictured. No naruto or seaweed and they put a fried egg in there? Tempura was doused in Kewpie, wasn’t asked if I wanted it. Broth had too much fish sauce. Not a fan unfortunately.

Bought a $5 sushi box today, not that great, but it is as expected for a cheap sushi box. For the quality, I would say even OTR’s sushi is much better. It’s cheap, but I would not recommend this place
