Nice! Delicious. Great value. Generous serves beautifully presented and the drinks are cold. I have been two nights in a row on a business trip. Consistent quality. Good sake list with clear descriptions and plenty of beer to choose from. Would like to see Nigiri sold by the piece and the soba noodles without any tempura. Focus is on main courses. Travelling alone I’d to try a lot but can’t eat three mains so a few smaller options would be good. Maybe a better ice bucket solution too. Otherwise excellent.

On entry to the restaurant the fragrance of the dashi and sukiyaki comes to you. Unagi rice (eel) is one of the best I have ever had.

The sushi boat is great value and between two of us, we struggled to polish it off. The karage chicken was also particularly good and served piping hot. Friendly service and an authentic Japanese restaurant which also sells some crafts at the front counter

Finally found the Japanese restaurant with ‘Chawanmushi’ !! Once I saw that was in the menu, already 5stars. Nigiri was perfect with balance of rice and sashimi. The main dish ‘Black cod with Miso’ was tremendously delicious as well. I will definitely visit again to try other meals.

Nice ambient, friendly staff but food was a bit underwhelming. That green tea plum wine was delicious, and I love the steamed egg reminds me of the ones I had when I was younger.

This is one of the most authentic Japanese kitchen in this city. The food has very good portion and flavour. The sashimi was so fresh and sukiyaki is designed for one but sufficient for sharing. They also allow BYO for 18/bottle.

The food is perfect. I’ve eaten here a few times and have tried a range of dishes and I can’t fault a single one. The service is great, fast and courteous as befits a Japanese restaurant I feel. Last night we had some house Sake and it was good.

I really liked every single dish we ordered and we pretty much ate everything, there was no leftovers. The chicken karaage and katsu were cooked to perfection, the chicken was juicy and not dry. The okonomiyaki was delicious but this is could a personal preference thing but I felt there was a bit too much sauce, nonetheless it tasty. The eggplant dish was delicious as well. The staff were overly friendly and very welcoming so that made the experience great. While I have no issues paying a lot for food especially if it is but the food was a little bit pricy compared to other Japanese restaurants I have been to which cost much less and it was the same quality, again this could be a personal opinion. I still recommend you to visit and eat at Nagomi Japanese Kitchen.
