Food was ok. Dumplings didnt have much taste to them. The young girl who served us was soooo rude. Would walk to the table and say what the meal was and then put it down where she was standing and not even giving it to the person whose meal it was. This happened with every meal she brought out.

Got take away and was very impressed with this place, the chicken katsu curry was absolutely delicious and got a good kick of spice and the prawn dumpling was so addictive tasty. Definitely will be coming back!

I’m from South Korea and I have eaten nicer Japanese food in my country before. I ordered a Nigiri combination (prawn sushi 3pc, eel sushi 3pc, salmon sushi 3pc) and Karaage chicken ramen and Tamago sushi (egg) 2pc using uber eats. Nigiri combination was fine but when I was ordering and saw the Karaage chicken ramen, I thought it would be karaage and ramen with chicken base but it was actually just Chicken Karaage and trash quality ramen. It never taste like authentic Japanese ramen. The quality of noodles taste like it’s made from factory massive production and the soup base taste like just any pre-made soup powder when you buy an instant ramen from any mart. Totally no worth to eat these from a restaurant. The texture of chicken karaage is too chewy not crispy so it makes feeling like it’s oily. It was not a good experience eating from this restaurant. Not recommended. If there’s anyone disagreeing to my review who thinks this restaurant is pretty fine, you don’t know the authentic taste of Asian food

I’ve been coming here for several years even when I moved from the area. My favourite is the softshell crab! They know I love there home made spicy sauce and don’t even have to ask for it. Inrealation to sushi, the portion size it’s reasonable priced well for st George area. Pay cash to avoid any surcharges is my suggestion.

We had been here many times before and found the food passable, given the staff are actually Chinese and not Japanese, however the “ramen” soup last night was just awful. When it arrived on our table I already knew it was going to be bad (see pic) and even after dousing it with half a bottle of soy it was still bland af, like watered down milk. I’ve never seen ramen like it. I thought maybe they had forgotten to add some key ingredients. The noodles were also 2 minute packet noodles. Might have to venture out a little further for some decent Japanese next time.

That’s my family’s favorite Japanese restaurant. They have delicious vegetarian options and they’ve always adapted the menu when we asked. We love the tempura set with veggies and with tofu.

Popped up here for dinner with our 2 year old and it was a great experience. Ple Ty of space outside for toddler to explore. Food came out super quick which is just what you want with a toddler. Food was great, standard Aussie Japanese fair (except for the miso soup which was quiet terrible). The karage chicken was delish, and my mixed sushi and sashimi plate was great. I don’t eat raw squid and they were happy to substitute. We will def be back
