This is a very good Sushi Train. Located off Ferry Road Southport in the Small shopping complex where Rasoi Master is.

Great atmosphere and very good customer service. Staff were friendly and attentive. The train had a great selection of sushi and others to choose from. Overall a great experience. However, I found a flaw in the system. If a $5 dish is rotating around without a customer picking it up, the staff should reduce the price by transferring it to a cheaper plate. This is in courtesy of the customer for the freshness of the plate. I found that many dishes were rotating around several times without any interest from customers. And suddenly a new customer would walk in and grab it when it had lost its freshness. Don’t think it’s fair that they pay the premium price for a dish that isn’t entirely fresh.

The quality is good and the idea of sushi train is good fun but a negative point is that some plates keep rotating for quite a while. I picked some fried calamari that were a bit cold. They were still good but clearly been sitting on the belt for a while.

Worst sushi joint I have ever been too. That was most money I have ever paid for a rice bowl and the least amount of food i have received in the same transaction. An absolute scam. $18 for 2 tablespoons of rice and a few bits of chicken. Not impressed at all

Hot selection is not hot at all, and if you ask for water they just give to you a glass so you have to ask several time for water at least in my case and its a bit annoying

Disgusting and overpriced food. Charged $25+ for two small prawn sushi and 6 tiny sushi rolls (with only tuna inside), 4 small COLD fried calamari rings and mousse that was frozen. Rude service as well. When the waitress was informed about the cold food, she gave such appalling attitude. She said she could have heated it up in the microwave for me – are you kidding! If you advertise a hot food section, I expect you to deliver hot food. Do not expect customers to ask you to ‘heat it up’ – what a joke. Replace the food on the train that has gone cold, or do not leave it there for so long getting cold. Simple. Definitely do not recommend eating here. Unacceptable.

Tidy place, staff friendly. I’m rating 4 stars because of lacking of some items on train buffet without avo, 90% of them had. Pricing ok, not affordable but acceptable.
