God awful chicken donburi. They used sushi rice for the rice bowl and it just tasted like vinegar. Chicken was tough, no longer crunchy and definitely NOT fresh.

Why is this franchise still in business and why can’t customers leave review at the hero sushi at Pacific fair ? Bought a salmon and avo roll for $4.80, avocado was only about 1cm literally one small bite , rest was all rice and a tiny bit of salmon. Went there at 9:30am and the rice was not fresh. Disgusting!

I’m surprised by the negative reviews because I regularly get sushi here and the service has always been wonderful. The ladies are always friendly and serve with a smile. The food tastes good and the end-of-day deals are amazing – e.g. I got the two boxes of sushi and takoyaki sticks (in the picture) for $5/box. The larger sushi rolls are also 2 for $5 at the end of the day.

Awful customer service from the man working there, not once did he make eye contact and was outright rude. He got our order wrong and the sushi rolls were small, rice wasn’t cooked properly and it wasn’t fresh at all. I won’t be going back there and wouldn’t recommended Hero Sushi at Australia Fair.
