My husband just got out of hospital after thinking he had gastro but stool sample came up with a bacteria from raw or poorly prepared seafood or chicken. . He had the seared scollops. We thought the sushi was great until this happened.

They recently opened along with Carmel Village, their presentation of food items is nice along with sitting space. I order Sushi and it was delicious.

Some of the most disappointing sushi I’ve ever had. Not awful, but still disappointing. Rice is over cooked and under seasoned, and a good 2/3s of the sushi dishes are doused in mayo. There’s no traditional dishes like Tamago and the variety of sashimi is only salmon and scallop. We ordered the udon and the stock was way too salty. The place is clean and service was fine. Really want to give them another chance if they expand the menu and rely less on sauces.

It’s a meh for us. If you LOVEEEE sushi you would know that this place is not “IT”. Service was great, staffs were attentive and friendly but the sushi are not great. I only liked the grilled salmon and the scallop ones, the rest were Nah (we tried 3 differenr plates) Unfortunately, I would rather go to Sushi Hub. Such a shame because we were excited when we found out we will have a local Sushi place. 🙁
