It’s different visiting Samuel Pepys. To begin you notice the atmosphere, deliberately laid back in an “I’ve gone to visit my family” kind of way. Nice tunes, vintage furniture, mismatched crockery, friendly staff and really, really good 100% Gluten-Free food.

Was very excited to go here as a coeliac. Come to find they have lactose free, dairy free, keto and paleo options too. A very inclusive place for people with all types of dietary restrictions – A good variety of food on the menu. I got the kfc burger and my partner got the burger of the day (pulled pork) and we left feeling both satisfied and full. The next day we got gourmet toastie and big breakfast! So good!

Eclectic Bliss. Went in for early lunch and loved it. Had coffee and waffles. Oh I must mention its 100% Gluten Free. They have an upstairs seating area.

Amazing. As somewith celiac disease this place is fantastic. Great food, everything on menu can be eaten. Service is super friendly and they really know their stuff about allergens. My son loved the waffles and milkshakes. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict as well! Amazing to find places like this to eat.

Service really should be a 15 star but unfortunately it doesn’t allow that many! Hands down the most amazing place to eat in Launceston, Jason, Terri Matt and the team are the best at what they do and everywhere else should aspire to be as good, really have raised the bar!

In addition to the delicious chai and food, we loved the values and philosophy of this cafe. The pay a coffee forward initiative coupled with the sincerity of the staff sets this cafe apart.

Superb Cafe! Love it. Awesome service, right from entering the Cafe till we left. Food was amazing. The best I have had so far. Love the way the Cafe was decorated. A must to go to for your brekkie when in Launceston.

I had the little vegan brekkie. It came very quickly, the service was great, everyone was super friendly, and the brekkie overall was a really good mixture of ingredients. The size is also pretty decent!

Always a pleasure to come to Sam Pepys. Staff are unfailingly lovely and professional. Food is delicious and you don’t wait too long. Lots of options for vegan, gluten free etc and you can still get bacon and eggs! Child friendly. There are upstairs, downstairs and outdoor seating options. Perfect place for brunch or an afternoon coffee.
