just close to average. Not as good as other Cantonese restaurants. Need to improve food quality. the prawn dumplings are quite bad, overcooked and the wrap is way too thick.

Had banquet menu for Chinese New Year Celebration. Price was a bit high but we got live seafood including pipis, lobster, and fish.

Lovely yum cha location in Chatswood. Hits and misses with their services, on good days you’ve got endless dim sim trolloys going pass you, but bad days you will need to wait forever. However the dishes are always yummy.

One of my regular spots for yum cha. It’s certainly gotten more expensive over the last few years but quality is generally pretty good. My top picks here are the steamed pork ribs, bbq pork buns / baos, taro dumplings (wu gok), spinach dumplings, chicken feet and egg tarts.

Great food and quick service, bit of a food court atmosphere. Prices are on a bit higher end. Pork and prawn dumpling an absolute must

Large, long-standing Chinese establishment in Chatswood. Never been until today. Food was quite well prepared and tasty, however, minimum $30 per dish.

One of the few dim sum places remaining in northern Sydney. We were sat in a room away from crowded common area. I was worried we won’t get the dim sum carts coming by. The server assured me he would make sure we got all dishes we wanted, and we did! Good customer care. It was on the pricy side, but it seems to be the case for dim sum places.

There’s not a lot of option in chatswood for yum cha so people go here as it’s quite accessible. Unfortunately it’s not that great.

3.4 – I like that it is the traditional Cantonese meal with house soup, meals with rice, fruit, dessert and cookies. However, one time, the dish I ordered featured only odds and ends of Chicken instead of nice fresh juicy Chicken that it shows in the photos and from past experiences. This is really poor for the price that they charge and $4/head for tea and no dessert makes me feel a bit duped. Pity. Yum Cha is better than dinner so I often go on my own. They replaced the older bossy man who seemed to be in charge who was quite rude and elbowed people waiting in the queue. Now they have a tall slim man who is friendly and thanks people!

I have been coming here for Sunday Yum Cha for the last few years. Sometimes a few weeks in a row and Saturday too. Most of the visits have been pleasantly enjoyable and sometimes excellent. Their food is always fresh, especially Dim Sums. It’s worth to pay a little more for a better quality. It’s still my favourite place for Yum Cha after all these years although it’s not perfect. Tell me which restaurant in Sydney is? They have slightly smaller varieties than those big ones in Chinatown but they are mostly fresher, tastier and have less MSG.
