Great F&C’s. On a busy night all was cooked well and the 20 minutes wait was ok. 20% surcharge on public holidays. Fresh fish available uncooked. See pics for the huge menu offerings. Carpark at the door and bottle’o right next door.

I really wanted to love this place given it seemed like a nice little family run business however I arrived about 5:45pm on a Sunday and waited 45 minutes for my takeaway for 1 which cost me $32. The battered fish was undercooked and so I wasn’t able to eat it and the calamari and mussel were overcooked and dry. I also ordered chicken salt on my fries and they were plain without the chicken salt (or salt). The tartare sauce was lacking the usual zest/tanginess of a tartare which I love. I’m not sure if it’s always this busy but I’m sorry to say it wasn’t worth the wait!

Food was cooked pretty quickly especiallyconsidering how busy it was . Staff were really lovely and the food was good but nit the best I’ve ever had. Prices were reasonable. The location was great as in the fact it is so close to the beach so you can take you dinner to picnic on the beach.

This is the first negative review that I’ve felt I really needed share. We ordered a family pack which costed us $71.70. The service was nice but the fish in our order was so horrible we threw it away. It tasted like Hoki from the Woolies deli and it had smelly egg taste about it.

Great little classic take away shop, doing fish and chips and burgers. Not somewhere to come if you’re expecting fine dining, but good all the same. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
