It’s spicy and I like the side dishes! Don’t expect fast service because they just have one chef and his daughter working in the restaurant! But they are a super nice person!

We have been to this restaurant a few times; they serve Sichuan cuisine. The chef, who is also the owner, and his daughter, who works as a waitress, are very friendly and welcoming. The dish portions are huge, and all of them are tasty. We will definitely visit again.

Authentic Sichuan food cooked with care and served by a friendly and welcoming father and daughter team. You will not regret checking out this hidden gem. The Chongqing spicy chicken is beautifully balanced and incredibly moreish and the Sichuan pickled fish soup is super addictive. Highly recommended!

A lovely and sweet Chongqing family owned authentic Sichuan restaurant , Very thoughtful and welcoming people, authentic Sichuan vibes and tastes , definitely 1 of my favourite go to dine in in the city , excitingly recommended for people who are into spicy and aromatic foods and hot pot off course ✌️ They always give me extras goodies for free , a extra large bowl of beef noodles with loads of extra for free just for $20 it’s almost like a steal I was overwhelmingly happy while feeling inevitably guilty

Went there since I wanted Sichuan and I got it. There was a bit of delay in getting my food and the other empty desks still had plates/bowls on them but they were upfront about there being a wait.

Very good traditional Sichuan dishes without the fuss. Very busy restaurant today which is Easter Saturday but I was prepared to be patient for this meal. Ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Beef Tripe as side-dish and a serving of steamed rice.

We came here for the fish in chili oil and we were not disappointed. The flavour was perfect and the portion size right for 2 people. The garlic vegetable was also very delicious. Service was impeccable, they were all very friendly there. The atmosphere was average, it’s simple and clean enough. When we were there it was not busy so we had lunch in peace. I definitely will come back!

We are here on a busy Sunday night after being turned away from a popular dumpling place for being a party of 2. We were going to order the twice cooked pork but the waitress (who was also our cook) recommended the pork belly with green chill instead. “No one orders twice cooked pork” We also had Gai lan (Chinese broccoli) with garlic and kung pow chicken. We started with the pork and it was fantastic just the right balance of heat, salt cooking wine. The plate was heaping with pork belly, thick green chiles (not too hot ) and red onion. The gai lan was perfect. Kung pow was the sweet and sour rather than spicy red chilli version from the cooks home town but very tasty. The place is not trendy but staff were friendly and efficient and explained each dish patiently to us. We highly recommend this place.

It might be because we didn’t order any of their signature dishes, but our experience was not the best. We ordered wonton soup, stir fried green beans, and a beef & potato stew. The wonton soup was really good, would give that 5 stars, the green beans were not bad but nothing amazing, they also got our order wrong so we ended up getting a pork belly, tofu & quail egg stew and it was busy & late so we didn’t bother correcting them but that was the worst dish. The picture on the menu was misleading, didn’t look like what we got. It was not good at all, small pieces of pork belly, with lots of tofu, the quail eggs were definitely cooked from frozen and had a very bad, peculiar smell when bit into (we didn’t eat more in case it was off).
