Having had breakfast here two days in a row, I feel very qualified to dish out five fat satisfied stars!!! What I call the “big breakfast” put others to shame – amazing touches like mushroom cooked in sweet chili sauce and presentation fit for Gourmet Traveller – stunning! Todays poached eggs and sliced (not smashed) avocado came with separate little islands of homemade pesto, beetroot hummus and goats cheese. Again, as pictured, a feast for the eye as well as belly. Bravo, Saltbush!!!!

Absolutely loved this place! The service was wonderful and the food was perfectly seasoned. We had the B&E Pita and the Cassoulet for breakfast. Would definitely recommend both! This place is an absolute gem!

You have to be little early to get all the items on the menu. We have missed both the Portuguese tart and the breakfast item with salmon. Delicious food and caring service. My 3 year old son was given a play tea set, which helped a lot to keep him busy as well as the pedestrians amazed! The tea is the star of the show, for me. Highly recommend.

One star because the coffee was good.. we ordered the bacon and egg Turkish roll.. it had clearly already been made and sitting there and they microwaved it .. it was soggy and tasted foul.. didn’t eat it so wasted $18 my partner could only stomach half of his.. will not be back..

There was 17 of us , 10 adults 6 kids 13 to 5 and 2 toddlers and everyother cafe in Queenscliff refused to accommodate us . The Saltbush made a room available for us and the meals were all great as well as the coffees . The service was fantastic by the owners and all the staff and was appreciated by us all . GO THERE AND GIVE THEM A GO you wont be dissappointed , we WILL be back again . To all the other cafes a very big THUMBS DOWN
