Food tasted great. We went for their omakase menu, it was good but certainly on the pricey end. The dessert was very basic not worth it if they do sell it for a la carte. Atmosphere was alright too, think they should have asked if we want to use the standard table or the Japanese style tables. All good otherwise.

Unbeatable dining experience in shoya. No matter services or food quality. Sashimi and sushi are fresh. Wagyu and hot food are also taste good. Can see the head chef was so professional when handling the sashimi and sushi and knowledgeable of all kind of fishes. highly recommend dine in here. Remember make a reservation better than walk-in.

Such a delightful omakase experience at Shoya Restaurant. The chefs have put so much effort and attention into their dishes making them immensely intricate, visually appealing and so flavourful. Such respect for its produce. We had the New Age and Poseidon Omakase degustation course. Seafood very fresh. Definitely worth upgrading to the Kagoshima A5 Japanese beef! Literally melts in your mouth. It’s on par or even better than kobe beef! Medium cooked beautifully. All dishes were delicious.

We were a party of four and we all had one of the ~$40 set lunch menus. Great experience overall! The decor is cozy, the staff are friendly and the food came quick. All the fish was fresh and quite filling. The matcha ice cream at the end was also very nice! Highly recommend!

Shoya has a great environment and good service and the restaurant has a professional preparation for Japanese-style food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the lunch sets, especially the tempura and the green tea ice cream.

It’s surprising to see the price of this restaurant remained constant for over 10 years. Highly recommended. Set menu is great. Service is attentive. Spacious seating and nice ambience.

The limited kaisen chirashi lunch set offers a diverse range of sashimi cuts at a great price. Please don’t order it – I don’t want to have to compete with others!

I went here with my son for my birthday lunch. It did not disappoint. The food was great value and one of the few places that allow different dietry set menus for 2 people. I had the vegetarian set menu and it was delicious and a lot more food than I expected. They brought out a lovely surprise for my birthday and the staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going again.
