The shop decor is in line with the rest of historical Queenscliffe and it may smell delish as you walk past but don’t get the coffee. It is watery and tastless oh … except for the stale flavour and way, way over priced. The No poster on the Referendum (somewhat ignorant information) displayed on the front window alongside the many other demands of entry is not appropriate for what is a holiday destination. And on reply, I am not a blogger and being mean will not make your coffee better!

I visited with my mother who uses a wheelchair. She received belittling treatment from an older male staff member, who we suspect was the owner. He made inappropriate comments about my clothing and launched into an unprovoked political tirade, much to the discomfort or my mother, myself, and surrounding patrons. The treatment was so poor that I left in tears. Watery milkshakes were the icing on the cake. For better food, drinks and service I would suggest visiting Saltbush Fine Foods or Queenscliff General Store & Take Away.

First experience was great. Staff were friendly and timely. Second experience, 6 of us ordered food and drink – but another 2 had brought in some outside food.

When I ordered a savoury crepe I was imagining something thin and delicate. Sadly that isn’t what I received. The crepe was extremely thick and bordering on rubbery. The bonus hair didn’t add to the enjoyment either. On the plus side the chutney was delicious.

It was a cold day when we had crepes at this Panache. Service was quick and still yummy.

A lovely little place with a lovely set of people running the place. Warm, friendly with that touch of humour that weaves its way into the decor of the place. We stopped over for an Apple Cinnamon muffin and a coffee. The muffin was soft, warm and decadent, just like a warm hug. Just what was needed on a cold rainy day.

Food was good but the man behind the coffee machine is not very nice. Speaks to his staff badly and you dont want to hear that.
