Established in 2016 Rusco & Brusco is an authentic regional Italian restaurant with strong influences from Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. The cuisine is inspired by “cucina povera” or “cucina casalinga” (simple cuisine from family tradition). Some of our dishes are very rare to find in Australia like the Passatelli in brodo or the Tortelli mugellani. Tigelle and Gnocchi fritti of course are the protagonists in 40 different version. Wood fired pizza now available.

Wow! Another great dinner tonight at Rusco Brusco. Thank you Sandy 4 the recommendations and if I had to pick a dish to come back to…way too hard to choose but I would say at the very least the spaghetti marinara…OMG! The flavours were heavenly.

Had brunch recently and we could not believe the changes. A once vibrant place had very few cakes etc available. Brunch of eggs on toast was awful and coffee undrinkable. New owners/ management need to get back to the way it used to be run. Very disappointing.

Nice classic motif and decor. Even the cold drinks are imported. U will be see the owners’ hard efforts and amazing thoughts in details. The focacce is splendid. Will definitely consider come over again for branch or supper. But it would be better if I could understand the menu better . As first comers, me and my mate were struggling making the decision on the menu since half of the menu if filled with unfamiliar ingredients or Italian words.

A pleasant surprise- there’s very few Italian restaurants in Adelaide that can break past the circa 1990’s level of stock standard dishes. Rusco gives a more authentic selection of Italian dishes truer to how you’d find them in Italy (I’m a fussy person when it comes to Italian food ever since I spent a month in Tuscany) – the crab linguine special was divine. The sauce the perfect Arancini balls were delivered in had me just about ready to lick the bowl in public

Terrible service and average food! We Went for Father’s Day – after making a booking. There were only around 15 people in the restaurant. Our simple breakfast was not served for an hour.

Lovely food- and their specialty bread with antipasto is delicious and very unique. The only negative is the layout and lighting of the restaurant. However, given how nice the food is, would go back for sure.
