Food overpriced, small serve dishes. Soup was lukewarm and poor quality. They also made mistake with my order and forgot one soup. I also saw the previous customer complain about being charged for chilli. Sadly disappointed.

We really enjoyed our meal this evening. I had a delicious Chow Mein with vegetables whilst my son had Lemon Chicken. Loved our entrees too. Really impressed with service too.

Ordered take away from Rose Chinese Restaurant on Monday 8/3/21. Very disappointed with the meal. Ordered Garlic Prawns with vegetables. The vegetable component of the meal was basically onion. Also not sure if there was any garlic in the meal. On top of just getting onion I also had to pay a 15% surcharge because of the Public Holiday. Contacted Rose Chinese Restaurant on the day about this but they failed to reply. For some reason they don’t seem too concerned which reflects on the poor quality meal that was delivered.

I ordered the honey chicken, combination chow mien, plus pork, shrimp and vegetable fried rice (large) for take away. The staff member was friendly and I didn’t have to wait long for my order. All three dishes were nice with plenty of meat in the chow mien. Note that public holiday and credit card surcharges apply. In addition, the restaurant does not have single use chopsticks and the restaurant’s “large” servings would normally be a “medium” at other places.

Definitely worthwhile having food from this place. If U driving down through great Ocean road trip, U can nick in to have amazing food to have next to Anglesea beach front. Give 5 star review. Will come back next time.
