This place is a hidden gem tucked in between Northstar caravan park watersides and the service station. Great specials and perfect winter warmers for those day trips to the beach. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and even soft serve ice cream for the kids. Recommend you try this place atleast once.

The Ripples licensed cafe was an amazing hidden oasis within the North Star holiday resort. The staff were very friendly with lots of local knowledge of the area to pass on from our enquiries. The restaurants food was delicious, with an excellent selection to satisfy all taste buds and even did takeaway for the nights we just wanted hot chips to go with the fish we caught in the river, and the prices werent exorbitant either. It was also a nice place to sit and enjoy a cocktail or two during happy hour and or sit an have a coffee in the morning.

We are staying at the resort and wandered down for happy hour. Travis suggested some delicious cocktails and we weren’t disappointed. He was entertaining to our kids. Thank you Travis, you are an asset here.

Great little spot to have some breakfast or dinner. I always thought lunchtime was a bit dead there. Great food with great prices and a nice area to sit outside. I miss the old buffet though 🙁

Nice food and cocktails, relaxed outdoor dining. Closes at 8pm which is a bit early so they could review opening hours during holiday times.

We went here for dinner on a Monday night and the food was terrible. We ordered a pasta special that was completely over cooked with no sauce, I complained to the waitress who simply said, no I don’t think I would order that dish, it doesn’t sound good! Also, I was drinking the Pinot noir. The first glass was delicious, but the 2nd tasted like it was from a bottle of dregs. Despite complaints no apologies were made. Steer clear of this place.

Staying at North Star resort for two weeks and I won’t be back. The table hadn’t been wiped over. Still had the last persons food on it. The water glass had lipstick on it. The top of the bench chair hadn’t been cleaned. It was covered in a black dust.
