Grabbed burgers and chips for dinner. The burgers were very soggy and sloppy I don’t believe that they drained the beetroot, lettuce or pineapple enough before putting them onto the buns. The chips by the time I got home (2 minute drive if that) were completely soggy I put this down to them being cooked and wrapped about 5 minutes before the burgers were done and put into a hot box. Unlike the other comments I had great service but yes it was approx 20 minutes for my meal with only 2 other people come in and out whilst I waited.

Service was terrible. My grandmother went in to collect a phone order, paid for order and waited an hour only to then be told that they had run out of products. The manager then told my grandmother she doesn’t want her business and to get out of her store. I know this store is closing down but this unacceptable behaviour. Do people not understand the affect their words and ways have on someone? Yelling abuse isn’t acceptable. My grandmother was left very upset and stressed from this experience. Good riddance to a terrible fish shop.

Forgot to add the cod to my order, it happens, and they replaced it next visit and added 6 calamari for my trouble. My friend ordered red emperor ($25 per piece, pricing fine for that fish) however, they were all overcooked quite badly the second time. (perfect the first) so mixed experience

Friendly and helpful staff. The Cod and Sweet Lip where cooked to perfection, as were the beer battered chips. Finally found a great local fsh and Chip shop. We will be back. Thanks.

The lady in her late 30s early 40s with black hair needs to have a bit better customer service, seems like in a crabby mood has a kid in there working for her about 14 treating him like a toddler could be her kid, if not I’d be truly concerned, the meals are pretty great don’t get me wrong, but she just brings the mood down, much better atmosphere across the road, I’m hoping next time I visit it isn’t much of a yelling match around the restaurant, prices could drop a bit, convienece store change seems corny and can tell straight away it’s just going to be way to over priced. Seems like only happy about money not about the job or customers

The old saying , you pay for what you get rings very true here you can have your regular fish( frozen) and get a good piece of fish or if your like me and want something more buy from the range of fresh market sourced fish. It might seem expensive but it is as good as you well get in any restaurant, pub or club.

Never go here if you want friendly pleasant service. The lady serving is a complete cow and is so abrupt and rude. To ad insult to injury I got home and the fish was over cooked and dry and the chips were undercooked and oily. She has the service style of venomous snake and I walked out wondering what I had done other than give her my hard earned money. A complete B! Seriously save your money and avoid these vile people who should not be in business that serves people. And she did not put on a glove when she got my fish from the fridge but I dared not mention anything to miss death adder. Very bad energy lady!..Very annoyed and disappointed.

Please please please move to pimpama and show these ‘fish and chip’ shops how real scallops and chips are made. Nothing here comes close to the quality and taste reel seafood offers. One week and they could put every other seafood shop to shame.

Bought 2kg of prawns for Christmas, prawns were excellent, but then at $47 a kg you would hope so. Service was pretty ordinary, patently understaffed for day before Christmas.

The fish was really thin and overcooked, very bland, calamari was really salty but tasted good, I asked for a dozen and got half. Chips were the best part.
