We had an amazing evening at Red Nectar. The service from Kerry and the other waiter (I missed his name!) was outstanding throughout, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was delightful, stylish andwarm. The lamb entree and pork belly main were our favourites but we finished every bite of every dish. The portions were generous and prices very reasonable for a special experience. We left glowing with happiness from a great dining experience, highly recommend!

We went on a Wednesday evening as it was my partner’s birthday. Did not expect to find such a fine dining restaurant in Helensburgh, but what a great experience. Compliments to the only chef there as everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. We had the 3-course option but will look forward to the degustation next. Highly recommended.

Wow wow wow. They squeezed us in on a Sunday night with a late booking while we were in town. Food was outstanding and normally fine dining the meal sizes can be small but not here. Even gave us a small dessert to celebrate our anniversary. With an award winning chef comes award winning food. Thank you Red Nectar. See you next time we are in town.

Super average though a cut above anything else in about a 20 minute driving radius. Food very reasonably priced and generous portions. However my gnocchi was rubbery and unseasoned and I had to send my beef check back and ask for it to be hot as it was Lukewarm at best. It was however very tasty and fell apart as it should. Service was clinical, menu pleasant but nothing ground breaking. Wouldn’t rush back.

We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves as they so kindly offered to open the restaurant for us on a night they were closed. The food was delicious and good serving sizes and such good value for money. I recommend. I don’t even write reviews normally but though I should as the experience was so great.
