The serving sizes are large and the prices are not too bad. However, my son got a steak sandwich and the breading on the steak was very overpowering with an aniseed flavour coming through. The sandwich was huge, but he couldn’t eat it all. My southern fried chicken burger was huge too and I couldn’t get through it all.

The food was delicious. The coffee was great. The service was top-notch. But damn, those pancakes were unreal. The amount you see in the pics is the standard amount. They were so soft, fluffy and thick. Probably the best pancakes I have ever had. If I ever visit whyalla again, I am coming back here for sure.

Chicken snitzel was over cooked and had to pay $5.50 for salad which looked like it been scraped of a leftover hamburger (unusual not to be included with the snitty and chips price) . The few chips were cold as well so overall quite unimpressed. Been several times but I think that will be my last visit. Coffee was ok though

Bought fish and chips for 2 people, came in box, the salad was missing from both packs at a cost of $50. Won’t go back.

The service was extremely poor when we went there, and the restaurant was not even fully packed! We had to wait more than 2 and a half hours for our food, ruining this precious weekend. Definitely never going here again.

A poor effort as per the previous review is grossly generous. I’ve never left a negative review before but this dining experience will haunt my dreams until the end of time. Between the three of us dining, the breakfast cost $60 but none of us took more than a bite of our meals. It started with my avocado on toast (pictured) – stale white bread covered in what I can only describe as something other than avocado. The only thing it had in common was perhaps the colour. My friend ordered the omelette, the look on his face after one bite said it all. He looked like he was going to vomit. He described the taste as the eggs being cooked in old oil that had been used to cook an old steak.
