Hey everyone hope everyone is ok. If you like fish and chips I wouldn’t go to the fish and chips shop in raceview square as my friend and I got some on Tuesday for lunch and it was very oily and the fish was double cooked and we could not eat it we had to put it in the bin. I rang them and all they could say was sorry we can’t do anything but if you brought it back on the day we could have got the money back. So I would not go there at all.

We dined in for 3 people at lunch. We ordered 3 seperate fish and chip meals that all got served together in a large cardboard tray. We were given one paper plate and one fork for one person only which left the other 2 having to use the paper from the cardboard tray as plates and no cutlery. And we had to then set about separating our meals. Asked staff for more cutlery that never came. Unfriendly workers who did not care much about good customer service or they just don’t know how too. I hope that will change for the better because until it does business will not prosper well.

This place was absolutely delicious, the food was wonderful cooked and tasted great. Was served very well and in a presentable manner. The Employees were incredibly nice and even their beverages were exquisite. Would love to dine here every night!!!

Hands down the best fish and chip shop I have been to and trust me when I say I have been to plenty as I love a good potato! Will not go anywhere else now that i have found this one! Staff is very friendly and polite. Pricing is average, similar to the rest around and well worth it

Quite a surprise there service & food was above expected, beautiful Chips,whiting,spring rolls that fed 3 adults for under $15 Incredible+ Enough parking for half the town table & chairs outside for all awsome 6 stars…..

Was excited as our daughter said they were great. Got $8 chips, and when we got home, it was a platter of hot potato. They didn’t put salt of any kind on it. And they didn’t even offer plain or chicken. It was also overcrowded and more than one person taking orders which is probably why they failed to add a simple thing like seasoning. Real pitty as the chip quality was good. But if we want plain we would buy oven bake.

The fish burger was great and the whiting was tasty. The potato scallop batter was too thick and undercooked but I wouldn’t write them off for that. Very good value and great service. Hard to call through on their phone though so get onto Facebook and find their mobile number.
