Ordered a few things to share for lunch – duck confit, fish of the day and pork chops on rice. Everything tasted good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Despite large portions, very pricy for what there was on the plate.

The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We had the Korean sticky chicken strips which were awesome and finished off with an affogato each. The best affogato presentation we’ve seen and the tasted was fantastic.

We went for dinner last night as a few years ago had a lovely meal. But we were very disappointed. Pork was like a glorified parmi dry and nothing special. The fish was nothing special and the salad was filled with kale and large chunks of croutons. Over priced for what we got. Sorry will not be supporting again.

Anyone visiting the Granite Belt for a wine experience MUST go to the QCWT. See the living history of wine in the region and taste the local wines. A meal at Varitas Restaurant is not to be missed. Great food, service and matched wines.
