This restaurant is way too small for how many people they think can fit in the space. First off it’s pitch black inside possibly because we were seated in a dark dingy corner by the toilet and fridge. The tables were so squashed together I was touching chairs with the table behind me so I would really consider this more of a takeaway type venue.

I consider this is Italian restaurant a great little suburban find. Amazing food & fabulous Italian wine. The gnocchi was like eating little clouds of potato. That pistachio dessert pizza with black Sea salt was heaven. The staff were attentive and delightful, & our party of six had a fabulous time. Can’t wait to return.

Have eaten here a number of times. Traditional Italian pizzas (amazing wood fired bases!), premium toppings. Really nice staff, you can watch the food being prepared and the chefs are always happy for a chat. Worth a visit!

Waitress forgot to put our order through, we waited for 30 minutes and noticed other tables had come after us and gotten everything. Asked for our drinks at the 35min mark and the waitress came past to “just check” what our order was, then proceeded to forget our drinks until I asked another 10 minutes later. By the 55min mark the food finally came out and it looked good. But suddenly the Carbonara tasted like garlic, the pizza was underwhelming and raw underneath the base. We left practically half the food on the plate after 10 minutes of getting the food and paid a whopping $96 dollars. Definitely not going again.

We often get takeaway from Prefisso but decided to eat outside this week. It was amazing! Food was excellent. Service was exceptional. Always a local favourite. Would recommend to anyone and everyone! Outstanding!
