Fish and at PKGs have been a while and new owners, ordered the reef fish crumbed with chips $14.90 it was very very good the fish was cooked to perfection and great crispy chips. Great service and the fish is fresh this is my new go to for fresh fish with good priced product

This ‘fish & chips’ takeaway has been a regular place to go to over the years. Recently we have found that the takeaway ‘fish’ is smaller than its ever been but the cost is higher. A sign of the times maybe. The staff have always been pretty chill and service is quite quick.

Absolutely disgusting. Expensive, small, dripping in oil and when you ring to complain then have to drive back to return it you get a lecture. Told your a liar when you say the chips came out cold. We didn’t buy lunch to return it.

Fish and chips, burgers and chips. All good! We have a child with special needs who is a very picky eater. The service here was excellent! Nothing was too much trouble! Made a burger to order with all of our special requests- thinking outside the box to cater to our needs too! We were on holiday and were struggling being away from home without ‘favourites’. This place was so great!!! Thank you for such great service. We ate here twice and both times the meals were great! Highly recommend for relaxed, family friendly place with, great food!

Staff are lovely but some things are undercooked and taste like oil. I kinda like my food cooked. Pineapple fritter pictured. Yuck but fish was nice and fresh well cooked.

Had Barramundi with chips, sea scallops and prawn cutlets earlier this week that was average at best. Gave a 2nd chance getting Snapper, chips etc a couple of nights ago which was WELL BELOW average. Totally different staff that didn’t seem to care 2nd visit. Both times somehow managed to undercook sea scallops and overcook the prawn cutlets again. (Which I assume are frozen and pre crumbed) AND I only got one cutlet when paid for 2. The only credit I can give is the calamari my friend ordered was nice. Sorry PKG – as a long time local I must say you need to pickup the game as the nearby competition is much better quality nowadays. We live in an area with fresh seafood off the trawlers, there’s no excuse for pre-made prawn cutlets. I won’t be coming back again.

The response to a complaint of my fish being so rubbery that you couldnt cut it with a knife was out of order. Hung up on but the owner , then talked over on the phone by , I presume the wife and told I was being rude when I wasn’t and hung up on by her as well. I promised the family we would never eat here a year ago and I broke that promise and got the same result. Small portions, bad fish and bad manners. Not sure why you’d go here when up the road are two quality fish shops. You once could get good food here 20 years ago but not now. The only reason you’d eat here is if ya had a broken leg and could drive to scales or Got Hooked.
