Been a while between drinks at La Lune, but a pre show opportunity to dine presented itself.

Food was amazing. Very good pizza and Cacio e Pepe pasta with some truffle oil. I was beyond paradise eating the food. The waiter just misunderstood the pizza order but they replaced it quickly. Very nice experience and affordable!

Highly recommend the tasting menu with wine pairing. La Lune has put together some magic that very few places have the vision for – standouts were the kingfish ceviche with an offdry Vouvray and Market Fish with Beurre Blanc with a Savagnin from Fleurieu that has been under Flor (!). Very unpretentious for a stellar kitchen and wine team. Can’t wait to be back.

Lillian was phenomenal. Such a perfect experience – as a wine lover, this spot is a Brisbane must! We even managed to guess the mystery wine and score a free glass each!

I stopped at La Lune late, having been refused service nearby because kitchens were closing. Received immediate warm smiles and a friendly welcome. The kitchen was closing but they were willing to put my order through. I didn’t even read the menu, but asked what was good. “Wagyu” was the reply and I quickly ordered – medium rare – plus a bowl of greens (Brussels sprouts) and because I don’t drink, some soda water. 20 minutes later I ate the most surprisingly tasty sprouts filled by one of the most delicious steaks I’ve had anywhere. Surprise thrills all round. Absolutely brilliant service and food. Totally satisfied.

An impromptu decision to dine out led us to La Lune, and what a spectacularly good decision that was. We sat outside (which was quieter) and were served beautiful food and drinks but a waiter who knew the menu and was friendly. I cannot praise the food too highly, and I had one of the best negronis that I’ve had at a restaurant. We will definitely be back.

I will have to adjust what I consider to be five star after coming here. The service was absolutely exceptional, the wine fantastic and the food… well the food was something else entirely.

Had a wonderful dinner with friends at the European style wine bar. It is on Fish Lane, with a modern upmarket vibe. The tasting menu was excellent, there was amazing food I wouldn’t have ordered myself but so glad we got to eat. We asked for a wine recommendation which we all liked. My favourite dish was the grilled fish, it was tender and well seasoned. The seared scallops and the zucchini risotto were a close second!

What a (hidden) gem! I say hidden because where Google maps leads you is not where the entrance is: go behind te building and you will find this amazing restaurant bar. We were served by the best hostess ever (bailee). The food is great, the wine selection is great, the vibe is amazing and the wines are even better.
