Amazing food and great bar service on the day. The room was a great size and I loved how accessible the toilets were and to the rest of the venue.

A spacious pub, including an outdoor undercover patio and beer ‘garden’ (rather a converted car park with some tables and chairs), so a great, surefire option for a big group without needing a booking. Guinness is on tap and delightful as always but there are no independent local beers on tap, which is a shame. The food is a tad pricey and wouldn’t exactly have Matt Preston moaning sweetly at the table but English expats will be relieved to find respectable renditions of traditional British staples such as bangers & mash, Yorkshire pudding and steak & Guinness pie on the menu. They also play the English Premier League matches and other British/Australian sport inside and on the patio, where you’ll be guaranteed some atmosphere, even if the commentary is muted in favour of a local bearded man playing every Oasis song on the acoustic guitar except Wonderwall, when secretly it’s all we want to hear and all he really knows how to play.

The place has a great feel and the safe were very friendly. Good selection of beers and the variety of seating area including the beer garden, main bar, top out door area and cellar/kitchen area give you lots of options. Only thing that was off is the food seemed under sized for the price. Given it’s a pub style environment I would have liked a little more on the plate.
