Of the several fine dining experiences we had in Hobart, this was easily the best. Loved Lachlan’s interpretation of Omakase, working within the framework of an omakase meal, & yet making it his own with his creative use of ingredients. Superb combination of flavours & textures from his extensive experience as a chef, dished out with Aussie humour & charm. Thoroughly enjoyed Omotenashi. Being inside the Lexus dealership is a novelty but it adds a sense of exclusivity and intimacy you don’t get from even small restaurants. The food was exceptional, the matching wines & sakes were superb and we loved the interaction with Lachlan & Sophie about the products they use. You must do this.
