I ordered sushi through Uber, and I must say, this is the most disappointing sushi I’ve come across in a long time. It’s essentially a mound of rice with a mere sprinkling of other ingredients, making me question the value entirely. To add insult to injury, every piece of sushi is drowning in a sea of mayo, a desperate attempt to salvage the dry and unappetizing mess they’ve served. This experience is an absolute travesty, and I strongly advise against ordering sushi at this place.

Sunday the 12th February made a booking and after arriving and found our table not in a great place ask to be moved and after a wee bit of uneasiness moved to another table but after that found service great, staff friendly, place clean and fresh and the food yummy. Spent just over an hour and had our fill. I’d recommend making a booking as it gets really busy.

Definitely the worst Oakami out of the ones down this way. Food took over an hour to come out. During this time staff continued to ask if we wanted to order, we told about 5 staff members we were still waiting on food we originally ordered when we came in and by each staff member we were given a dirty look and they just walked off. No apology for wait times or explanation, terrible customer service. When we finally got some of our food, then waiting another half hour for the rest, our plates were not cleaned away even though staff were floating around. We were not made to feel welcomed or as valued customers, I only noted 1 kind and welcoming male staff member in the whole place. Food was good, actual restaurant was nice just a shame the service and the staff ruined it for us. What a waste of $40 when by the end of the night we still hadn’t recieved atleast 4/5 dishes we had ordered. Will not be coming back here and will be returning to mornington and frankston oakami as much better service and staff there.
