Owner Michael Thompson has spent 15 years as a sustainable commercial fisherman after growing up in a ‘fishing’ family in Queensland. With a wide range of experience, he understands the importance of quality seafood and what is required to maintain premium quality from ‘ocean to plate’. Our goal is to ensure that customers are offered a range of convenient seafood take away meals but particularly focusing on premium local fresh seafood. Feeling like they should retrain whomever was in the kitchen today. I’ve been here before and it was pretty good, went today and the fish was very over done and inedible. I’ve never had fish and chips cooked so badly, it went in the bin. I understand times are tough at the moment for everyone but I can’t support a local when the food is this bad.

The food: The Famz ordered fish and chips and a plain burger. Fish and chips were very good, well cooked and a decent serving of chips. The burger, well, yeah…nah! Well presented, however, bun was cold, fridge cold. The pattie, cold enough to need a cardigan on a 32 degree day. This type of burger tragedy should never happen.

Hi we have tried phoning you numerous times 18, plus and no answer. We ordered at 5:42pm today Saturday 23rd, docket number 3831. We have been calling you since we got home. Ordered was a burger, 3 Crumbed sausages and chips. Instead of Crumbed Sausages you gave us what seems like hot dog sausages going to waste, my son tried a bit it was yuk, so I never had any neither did he just the one bite, as we do not like them. If you answer your phone I would not have had to post this. Still trying to call still no answer.

Ordered 2 portions of fish and chips here tonight and the chips we’re just terrible you could tell they tasted bad just by the way they looked, dull, soggy, floppy and tasteless. This use to be our regular till we discovered the other place up the street and they were closed tonight so we went here. But I don’t remember the food ever being this bad, they are just pushing customers towards the competion 20m up the road. Massive let down…

Just witnessed two young girls working grab old gravy put it in the microwave then proceed to put the gravy on my chips after one girl asked “where did u find this?” Which freaked me out. The amount of gravy put on couldn’t even cover half the chips. Very disappointing.

I get that staffing is a problem at the moment but my experience today was beyond the pale. When I arrived the only staff member was sitting on a chair in the parking lot talking to someone in a car. When she saw myself and another couple enter the shop it still took a few minutes before she’d finished her conversation and took our orders. Thankfully about 40min later a 2nd staff member arrived and that’s when they STARTED preparing our orders. Got my money back but what a shambles.
