I actually don’t know where to start… this cafe is connected to one of the best IGA’s I’ve ever been into. That’s where it ends… breakfast this morning was the worst I’ve had placed on a table anywhere in the world! I asked for hard poached. They came out soft. I asked them to just put in and zap to fix. They returned with eggs so hard as a rock you could use as a ball. A crust?! A extra meal also was delivered we didn’t order. The server response was ” well ya paid for it soooooo” pity i can’t upload the video of the balls on crust.

Been there around 7:30am and still not open but the timings online is 7am they will open, did si a young friendly bloke and ask him ehat time they will open and he said 8am so we wait 25mins more hoping to have a food for breakfast, but when they open and go to the counter to order food they said they don’t have a chef to cook the food cause the chef’s is late. I will not recommend this cafe to anyone we just waste are time on nothing!

Best coffee we found between Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens. The thick shakes are to die for. I wanted a salted caramel shake, so they used salted caramel ice-cream to make it. Thank you for thinking outside the box and wanting to give the customer the best experience.

I dont often leave reviews but this place needs one! Some of the nicest, friendliest staff I have ever been served by. Very caring as well. I have a lactose intolerance and they notice my order and clarified my needs. So wonderful for such a little town. Absolute credit to them and I’ll be back to Hawks Nest solely for this cafe.

People reading this, if you want good food steer clear of this place. If it were possible, I would’ve given this place a half-star rating just for friendly staff. However, there was no effort in the meal preparation. I ordered a beef salad which tasted and looked as if it had been made by a three year old. There were a total of three ingredients: dry leaves, two halves of cherry tomato and slices of meat which were impossible to chew. I mean at least try to make it look good. This was by far the worst meal I have eaten. Additionally, someone I was eating with had three large pancakes with bacon thrown on top of it like someone was blindfolded and decided to see how badly they could decorate it. The problem is there was nothing but pancakes and bacon with a little maple syrup. No fruits on top or anything. A avocado smash was also ordered and it came out so terribly, there aren’t enough words in the English language or for that matter any language to describe how horrible it tasted and how pathetic it looked. Do not go here.
