Visited Namaste Restaurant during my trip to Sydney from Melbourne and it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and they served generous portions that left me satisfied. The flavors were fantastic, and I couldn’t get enough of the tasty dishes. The staff were really friendly and provided great service. Pretty place with soft music. Bar is well organised and plenty of sittings available. Staffs are way too hospitable. The way of serving water is amazing. I have only tried few of the dishes here. Among them, Nepalese street foods, Biryani and other meet items are delicious for real. Personally, A Big NO to the Chowmein. I didn’t like the texture, taste and the type of noodles used. Apart from that, I will visit this place often and try their other dishes.

We went around 11:50 to enjoy some chaat but were informed the lady who prepares has not come yet. By the time she came and got ready, we were done and disappointed with order. Paneer chilli was just sauté in tomato sauce. Very saucy. Samosa chaat was fine. It was cold inside, the restaurant doesn’t have a closed door , nor do they have any heater.

I think we were the first customers to walk in on a weekday for lunch. We ordered Veg Jhol Momo, Veg Chowmein noodles for mains and paneer chilli for starters. The paneer chilli was literally sweet and made in some tomato or pasta sauce. Overall food quality was just ok and the service needs to be improved. The staff can be more customer friendly and make some suggestions, not every customer has experience in ordering Nepalese Food.

I first came here a year ago I was so disappointed with the quality of food I vowed to never eat here again. Today I came here because of friend told me to try and eat here again. I have come and I was so surprised at the high quality of food. I was presented with the new menu (Nepali chatpat set) made by Shreeya . The food wasn’t only very tasty it melted in my mouth. The momo and the chowmin had subtle flavouring and texture. On the whole this meal has won me to be an ongoing and permanent customer. I will be coming back here again and again. The chef’s shreeya work is truly first class.
