Have not been here for decades – cheap, no frills Hong Kong restaurant that’s been an institution for many students over the years.

Delicious authentic canto food. Love the congee that reminds me of my mums cooking. Warm and comforting. Lots of variety.

We ordered crispy skin pork, Chinese mushroom with broccoli, and wonton and bbq pork noodle soup. The crispy pork is good, not smelly but too thin slice. A bit argument with the waitress as she brought the Chinese mushroom with pak choy instead of broccoli but she took back and brought the correct order. But she seems annoyed after that because no more smile. The noodle soup was so so. But overall the foods were ok.

Food is very good. On the search for new roasted duck place as usual one is permanent closed.

Affordable, zero-fuss tasty food is what I liked the most about this place. I ordered curry chicken on rice without bones, regular size ($13.70). There were 4 chicken pieces of respectable size and the curry itself was very satisfying. The only reason I’m deducting a star is because 2 of my pieces had bones in them, which was chalked up to the chef’s mistake when addressed to the receptionist. Nonetheless, the place is simple-looking, clean with caring employees and decent food.

Feeling nostalgic after not visiting for >20 years since I left work around here! Still the same decor, except the front windows are cleaner which allows viewing inside! Quality of food is so much like the ways it should be!! – honest pricing and value for money compared with fluffy offerings from quite a few restaurants ! We love the traditional ‘pao’ skins- the way it should be! The soup is Jam Pack with ‘Liu’, tiny restaurant place, old unassuming furnishings, but jam packed with happy patrons! I feel so lucky to be here again! Please keep up your good quality food at modest prices!

Most over priced Chinese in the city for what you get. Beware of being charged for corkage when they do not even offer an ice bucket for your drink. Also be aware of the small hand written sign behind the counter, which tells you they have a 10%surcharge on Sundays. Overall 2 entrees, 1 main and 1 rice was $73 which is ridiculous. Will not return even though we were regular customers here.

Came here for light lunch, we ordered beef hor fun and hot’n’sour soup. The noodle was perfect, and the soup was great for the cold day.
