Seafood fried noodle was great disappointment. Having expectations seeing the good reviews, it was far below my own standard.

Two of us visited Juicy Bao Vietnamese restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night in Chinatown. The restaurant opened at 5pm, and by 5:30pm it was absolutely packed to the rafters. We ordered the chicken and prawn pan-fried dumplings, pork bao, and sizzling beef with rice. The food was served very efficiently and tasted both fresh and delicious. Thank you to Juicy Bao!

The service was very quick, staff were friendly and prices are reasonable with large portion sizes. The dumplings and boas are a great hit however we thought the noodles lacked flavour and was a bit cold. Overall solid experience.

Nice place! We had two servings of their signature pork and chive soup dumplings, as well as their chicken and prawn pan-fried dumplings, the black bean beef and the kung pao chicken with peanuts and chilli. We loved the soup dumplings the most, and I personally loved their black bean beef because it was quite flavourful. The chilli chunks/red capsicum in the kung pao chicken was a little undercooked, but the chicken was nice and I liked the flavour. They’re a little overpriced for mains, but the dumplings are well priced and worth it. Would go back again for their soup dumplings.

I was so excited to have some meals in this restaurant but was disappointed after having them. I’ve ordered few meals including entrees and main meals which unfortunately they brought everything together. Main meals got cold as we couldn’t have all of them in one go. Dumplings are very good and delicious as they are handmade and doing somewhere that you could see them. I’ve ordered few and was happy with them. However, noodle taste was really bad and oily. You could taste of burnt oil with no any spices in it.

If you’re a fan of dumplings, and bao, and have never visited this place, I guess this is the time. Famous with its bao, this place also serves other common Chinese food like fried rice, sauteé vegetable, sweet and sour chicken, and many more.
