Wanted a quick meal before heading out to theatre. Arrived at 5.30pm and place near empty but steady flow of people coming in proves its popularity. Not a lot of ambience so dont have a first date here. Focus is feeding you fast and getting you out for the next customer. Glass top tables for ease of cleaning gives you the vibe of the place as well as one wall is completely mirror. That being said no pressure on us to leave. Ordering food is via QR scan code attached to your table which I personally hate but thats the new norm after covid. Pay at desk at end of meal. The menu is extensive and prices are reasonable. Rice, pancake, doz dumplings and two main meals for$82 is reasonable that well fed two people. Portions are good size and the sauce flavours are intense and flavoursome. Staff are friendly and polite and cold water for the table is supplied. This place located on second floor so access is via a stair case so no good for Great Nana Iris and her arthritic knees. With so many food options in China Town Little Bourke St I can highly recommend this place to get a flavoursome good sized portion feed that wont empty your wallet. This placd holds its own against the many nearby eateries on food alone.

I have seen a lot good review on this place and went to find out by myself. This is the top 10 worst Chinese restaurant Ive ever been to. I order pickled cabbage vermicelli and found out there is literally 98% cabbage and 1% vermicelli. To be honest i cant even feel vermicelli in my mouth. The serve was also really bad.

Must order the pork slides with pancake . I like it the most amongst 4 dishes that we ordered. You eat it like how u do with perking duck. I would prefer if the pancake can be little bit thinner though.

Not bad. The stir fried pork with pancakes was definitely the star of the show. Very soft and flavourful and also fun to look at. Guo baorou was ok, meat was a bit dry and a bit too sour overall. Boiled beef in spicy stew was not that good, meat tasted a bit weird and not that fresh.
