Recently visited the restaurant for the second time. The food is excellent!!! Every single dish is very delicate and subtle, it’s definitely worth the price when you think of the chefs’ effort. However, I thought it was a little shame that we couldn’t see the chefs cooking/serving this time although we got to enjoy interacting with the chefs when we visited there for the first time about 2yrs ago.

The staff at Mu have curated the most amazing dining experience my husband and I have ever had. Not only was the food absolutely phenomenal, they were so accommodating and truly cared about our experience there. The chef Chuck was especially caring and he spent so much time making sure my husband was okay when he wasn’t feeling well. Jasmine is so knowledgeable about the sake and personable too! The wait staff and team as a whole were so wonderful and anytime we have celebrations we will be bring our friends and family back again and again.

I attended the Meet the Chef Robatayaki degustation dinner. It was beyond my expectations, with every one of the 12 courses blowing my tastebuds. The staff were knowledgeable and genuinely interested in achieving high standards in customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Highly recommended! The servers were so friendly and knowledgeable, and we loved that they took the time to talk about the dishes and ingredients with us. My favourite dish was the toothfish. Buttery and umami with the sweetness and tangy touch from the Davidson plum. The quail was a close second. Well seasoned and perfectly cooked. What a lovely experience!

Amazing ambience, felt transported to a different time & different place. We were greeted by Jasmine, and her hospitality, knowledge & calm temperament instantly impressed my partner and myself, before the food had even started to come out we were chatting amongst ourselves about how we had to leave Mu a 5 star purely on our interactions with jasmine, great wine recommendations and really made us feel at home. Food didn’t disappoint either, the menu was very different to other Japanese establishments we have been too but that’s what we loved about it, the mystery of what came next and the unpredictable nature of the experience was a joy.
