Set overlooking the gently flowing Mossman River at Silky Oaks Lodge, the open-air Treehouse Restaurant welcomes the sights and sounds of the rainforest creating an extraordinary backdrop for fine dining.
Cuisine is contemporary Australian in style with tropical influences, designed by Executive Chef Mark Godbeer to celebrate the bounty of local and regional produce. Innovative menus are complemented by a premium selection of Australian wines.
Lunch is available daily in the restaurant from 12pm-2.30pm, with two and three-course menus available. Reservations are essential.

Our lunch at The Treehouse Restaurant was the most amazing lunch experience I have ever had!! Set in the world’s oldest rainforest, up high looking over the peacefully flowing Mossman river. The open plan restaurant blends well into this magnificent environment. The staff were exceptional and extremely attentive. The service was first-class. The food was excellent and my vegetarian tastes were also well catered for. We both had 3 delicious courses. It also rained while we were there making the experience all the more magical. Highly recommend this restaurant & the entire Silky Oaks Lodge experience.

Tried to book in to have a dinner here with my fiancé to celebrate our 3yrs + our engagement only to be told “nope, we’re only for people that stay with us. We’re an exclusive and and luxury restaurant” which would be all well and fine except my friend went there for dinner 2 weeks ago and wasn’t staying there…plus there website does not state anything about the restaurant only being available to people staying at the accommodation.

Absolutely fantastic. Top level service and excellent food. Really nice combinations and the service advice was very helpful. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings. The building and facilities are amazing. It is also excellent value – under priced for the quality.
