Was very busy and we were hungry so decided to give it a go. The front of house was friendly and after a short wait got a table. The food was fine, nothing to write home about, service was also fine. Additional weekend tax changed the rating to a 3 star. A cheap quick meal for 2 ended up being $110+

Went here to try their xiao long bao. The pork inside and soup tasted good. But the dumpling skin was very thick. Which in my opinion the dumpling skin should be as thin as possible without breaking too easily.

Delicious authentic Chinese food in the heart of Chinatown. Attentive staff, excellent rapid service and the food was top quality. We had ginger and garlic prawn pork dumplings which were divine, followed by Spicy Peanut chicken and honey chicken, accompanied by steamed rice. Two glasses of wine to go alongside. The food was outstanding, will definitely be back and taking our friends and family! 10/10

While my overseas friends loved the food, however, I think this place can do better. We had gone on a public holiday for dinner, wait time was minimal but the attitude of the staff was disappointing. It’s not that there was a delay in serving food or them not being attentive, but they made no attempt to hide that they were stressed / overworked. Their responses were curt and terse and they made no attempt to hide the fact that they were not so keen to have any interaction with us.

This place seems to be always busy during lunch time and we saw there’s spot available so we gave it a go. There was a pretty good selection of Taiwanese and Chinese dishes in the menu. We tried a number of classic dishes. The beef noodle soup was okay, it isn’t as tasty as the original soups in Taiwan. The dumplings had thicker skins compared to other shops. The fried chicken is juicy on the inside but not that crispy on the outside.

Food is excellent…..BUT the service is appalling. Be warned if you order entree and mains the lot will come out at once. There’s a total disconnect between staff and it’s very disappointing.

The all the dishes we ordered were delicious. The service was professional and prompt even tho we didn’t have a booking. You can see the dumplings being freshly made which I fantastic. The restaurant is clean and the decor fits the atmosphere. Was not disappointed and would like to try other dishes next time.
