If you’re alone and can only eat one thing – please have the mackerel dumplings! So unique, light, and tasty. Perfect filling/skin ratio, pan fried until slightly crispy while the inside is moist.

We had the hot and sour soup, Spanish mackerel as well as Chinese cabbage fried dumpling. The soup was average which you can skip. Their dumplings were good and I preferred the Spanish mackerel but you probably won’t enjoy them if you don’t like chives as they are already in the meat. However, since it’s meant to be fried dumpling, we expected the dumpling skin to be more crispy but they are pretty thin and soft instead.

Had their Spanish Mackerel Dumpling , I can say it was the first time in very long time that I satisfied with dumpling. The filling is very creamy and only very slightly fishy (or not at all). The size is very decent, but price tho is $20.80/ 10pcs (according to my friend this is worth it cause apparently this type of dumpling is not easy to make)

Used to love coming here many years ago but tonight’s experience was really disappointing. Ordered the Little Rachel seafood dumplings (pan-fried) and dill & pork dumplings (boiled). After adding Sunday surcharge this comes to pretty much $40. You’d expect higher quality when you pay $20 for a serve of dumplings. Well, the seafood ones were still raw inside when they came. Temperature was lukewarm, prawns were still mushy and not fully cooked. We pointed this out to the staff and although they made another serve for us, there was no apology or discount offered. What if people got food poisoning from this? Be thankful it’s seafood and not chicken or pork. Anyway, I wouldn’t be returning to this place anytime soon.

If you like dumplings then you should try the Signature Spanish Mackerel Fried Dumplings which were unique and tasty. The Silken Tofu with Preserved Duck Egg was pretty good too. I wouldn’t say I love the food here but I guess I need to go back to try more dishes before my final verdict just to be fair.

Pretty good dumplings; the filling to dough ratio was good, and the dough was thin. Ordering is done via the QR code/online and straight forward, though for my boiled dumplings still took around 18 minutes which I thought took a long time considering the place was less than half full. The dumplings aren’t the cheapest around town but are of good quality.
