I went in to get fish and chips for 3 people. Looking on the menu for the best deals. Saw ‘Fish for 2 $12 and selected 3 of these. Lady at counter rings up $51. I reply that 3 x 12 = 36. She abruptly points me to a handwritten sign stating to please ignore all prices as there are new prices. As she’s stating this, the bloke cooking turns and rudely yells at her and me that it’s $17 each. Well, I was offended by the rudeness more than anything! I also know the law and he’s supposed to have the prices clearly marked. So we argue loudly at each other. I could see that it would have been easier and faster to just change the 12 to a 17 with a textor than write the note that he expects customers to somehow read before anything else. But he was just plain being rude to a customer! And I felt silly not reading his handwritten note and ordering the fish for two for $36. He needs to get his mind right about his obligations under the law and customers obligations. Blimey! I was only trying to give him my business! I could have gone elsewhere! Which I did. I am trying to ring him before contacting consumer affairs. He may call me for a friendly chat. I’ll give it a few days (7) before calling consumer affairs to hear what he has to say. There was an incident going on outside involving police and a handcuffed person so maybe the guy was already under stress? His business might also be struggling, I have compassion for that too, as I respect small businesses.

What has gone wrong?? This used to be a great place to eat but c’mon, substituting a big greasy marathon spring roll with a cocktail spring roll yet keeping the same price is a rip off. $7-10 will get you a bag of about 50 and you’re trying to charge $3.50 for 1?? I get times are tough but the price hikes for the amount of food given doesn’t add up. It was going to be a 1 star but I added a star for their seafood salad. Yes there are less prawns but the taste is delicious

Extremely disappointed ☹️ ordered 2 AB packs..my partners had chicken bones in it, I requested cheese on mine and I got a piece of sliced plastic cheese broken up into chunks, sweet chilli sauce was watery and both had garlic sauce and the sauce had no garlic flavour. Although the chips were nice, they seriously lacked any chicken salt. Not worth the price hike!!

Great service friendly staff and great food. Highly recommend the Chicken snittie burgers with the lot as they are the best. No other chicken shop is good as theses guys. I tell everyone they have to try the food from here.

The food is well below par for the money particularly considering the amount of competition in the area. Bland, small and roughly thrown together, We gave you a couple of shots, but just well below average food with a premium price.

Owner deliberately marks up prices by 50% on menulog for pick up orders, overpaid by almost $20 for an order that wasn’t even right. Chips were dry, burger was soggy and wasn’t even the right burger. Owner didn’t even acknowledge any of it. Stay away, terrible food and owner only takes care of friends.
