Our first visit inside Moku Bar & Grill on Sunday 17/09/23 for Breakfast arriving around 07:45am. In total paid AUD $74.00 for two Full Breakfast Buffet & excellent value with the great selection & choices of food, nicely presented & self serve. Restaurant was spotless & very spacious with a great atmosphere catering for all. The breakfasts were delicious in taste & well cooked. Both being locals we will defiantly return. Plenty of side street free parking on Sunday’s & Moku Bar & Grill Restaurant welcomes non-guests staying at the Novotel Hotel.

It was Tuesday so we all ordered the 300gm Rump Steak with slaw and smoked potatoes For $26 it was a great price. The smoked potatoes where the best and made a change from chips like you get everywhere.

Wonderful, thought-out vegan options. We had the cheesy garlic flat bread, sharing platter and vegan steak (all to share). Heaps of food between the two of us (when in Cairns…), and enjoyed every bite. Cocktails were on point. A Kaffir lime number was to die for and the watermelon margarita was to my partners satisfaction. Will visit again when in Cairns! Thanks!

We had a night flight and wanted a place to hang out before we left. Moku was perfect we sat in the sun read and swam. You can get a day pass and they give you vouchers for food and drinks. We also had some food before our flight. The only thing is there’s no shower.

Vegans – pay attention! It was so refreshing to see an omni menu filled with so many great options that aren’t boring! We had the “fish” and chips and the “steak” and were both very happy with our choices. Our little one really enjoyed her fried rice as well! Service was clearly run ragged though and our table was cleared while we were offering dessert even though we weren’t done with our drinks yet. Otherwise an amazing dining experience, if a little pricey, and we’d happily dine here again.

Moku Bar & Grill is part of the Novotel Oasis Resort in Cairns. The restaurant itself is overlooking there beautiful tropical themed pool area. The ambience of the restaurant was modern and relaxing. The staff were attentive, friendly and prompt. Food choices were excellent. We had the Brisket Beef and Poke Bowl for mains. Service was immediate we had our meals served on time. Quite impressive. Servings were generous and prices reasonable. Food was a delight. The Brisket was cooked to perfection and oozing with deliciousness. The Poke Bowl was fresh and tasty. Overall experience was stellar. Definitely highly recommended. Coming back for more. We are coming in for the Buffet Breakfast .⭐⭐⭐✅✅✅ Update Consistently exceeded expectations with this restaurant. Huge array of fresh meals on offer at the Breakfast buffet. Eggs are cooked perfectly. If you want to request to have one cooked for you they are more happy to take your order. Fresh selection of seasonal fruits, cold meat, pastries and the list go on. Thank you to all the staff and crew at this wonderful restaurant.
