I came for lunch and had the Prawn Linguine (you won’t be disappointed) the view is out of this world and the staff are lovely. I did think it was table service for some reason but that didn’t bother me. All in all I had a lovely time soaking in the view of the Cairns Lagoon and surrounds.

There were multiple unique meal options on offer, with combinations I had never really thought to do but turned out pretty well. Food was delicious and of high quality, as were the drinks. One downside for me is I didn’t like the seats that were available – you sink into the chair when you sit down which makes it a bit uncomfortable to eat.

Arrived at 4pm on a Saturday . 80% of tables had reserved signs on them and the bar staff made the group of 7 I was with feel like an inconvenience that we were there without a booking . Multiple tables stayed unoccupied during the 2 hours we were there . On arrival advised we could have a small area with motley seats in the corner and then had pillows from the lounge we were sitting on literally plucked by staff from behind our backs to accommodate other seats . A friend was at the bar when this happened, over hearing the bar manager telling the waitress who questioned taking a pillow to “not care about it and just do it without asking “ . Stuff were rude and acted like they didn’t want to be there .
