Great food and amazing seafood dishes! Fresh and flavoursome. The surf and turf is the best I’ve ever seen and tasted. Beautiful freshly shucked oysters, tasty chowder and there are so many more dishes I wanted to try on the menu. Can’t wait to return to eat more!

This place is a hidden gem of a place! We had the Mediterranean garlic bread, surf and turf, lamb shanks, carbonara and chips. The lamb shanks is probably the best out of all the dishes. It literally can be pulled apart with very little effort. It was super juicy. The surf and turf was packed with seafood loke calamari rings and oysters. They did not stint at all with the ingredients. The chips were super crispy. You can literally hear the crunch. Perfectly salted. Love the carbonara as well. They packed it with beef, bacon and chicken pieces. All in all, it was pretty hard to fault.

Michael’s was a welcome surprise. the food was lovely, ordered the oysters kilpatrick and ceviche (highly recommend), roast pork and chowder both decently portioned and priced. we would’ve loved to try the desserts as the options were tantalising, but alas, we were full up. The food is fantastic and a very popular place when there are events like music bingo on Wednesdays. So while the line to order may be a bit long, the food is good, and not too expensive. They have really nice specials and as far as pub food goes, it is always tasty and consistent every time I go.

Great food. Extensive contemporary menu. Pleasant courteous staff but waiting time for 4 meals was more than 40 minutes on a Saturday night with no explanation for the delay. Rushing a meal because poor service makes it difficult to be positive. Will continue to enjoy the meals here but will make sure the kitchen is aware of theatre or cinema booking.

The food here is sensational, my favorite place to dine. Large meals that don’t lack in quality, but you do pay for it. I am not impressed with the recent price rises but it won’t stop me from coming back.
