Our family get Macca’s drive-thru every Friday night. I was a bit disappointed tonight. I had a frappe handed through the window to me which had a crack running more than half the length of the cup, causing the contents to go all over my clothes (luckily I was heading home). I parked and went in and told the staff who offered me a cup to put the damaged half full drink into. I asked if I could please have a new frappe, and got one. I understand that things like cracked cups happen, but I was surprised that I didn’t receive an apology and had to ask for the new drink.

Service and cleanliness has nosedived under the new owners and managers. Floor is covered in rubbish. Receipts aren’t coming out of the ordering machines and the managers do nothing about it. We ordered two cappuccino coffees. They were scalding hot and tasted of burnt milk. We couldn’t drink them. The place was dirty. Thick geasy dust was on the bench behind our seats. I actually write “Clean” on it. This restaurant seems to have been renovated recently, no McCafe anymore. The staff weren’t overly friendly. Won’t be calling in again.

Over many years I have stopped here on my travels. When the highway bypassed the town I still detoured as I enjoyed the coffee and the selection of cakes and slices available. My last visit here was just that – MY LAST VISIT. I ordered coffee and a Choc Chip Muffin. I was given a number for my table and told it would be delivered to the table. The coffee came and was as enjoyable as it always had been. But after about ten minutes when I enquired after the muffin, the staff member checked the counter and then thrust a brown paper bag at me. The muffin was inside. So much for eating in! MacDonald’s will not miss my business as I only eat here when travelling.

Received wrong order & food was unsatisfactory to eat. Expensive to eat food not cooked enough. I do not recommend eating here. It must be poorly organised, perhaps management is not good to have so many aspects not good. Staff at the drive through collecting money was good but staff handing food must really hate her job as it was all too hard for her.

I don’t eat McDonald’s often, however I was starving this Morning and in a hurry. Ordered a medium Double Cheeseburger Meal with a Cappuccino. The burger was squashed, covered in masses of tomato sauce and cold. . The chips were cold and well undercooked and the coffee was about a 2/10 on the coffee scale. Up there with the $1 servo coffee. Burger is now sitting in my gut like a brick and coffee got tipped out. . This was the final nail in the coffin. No more maccas for me no matter how hungry. Just not worth it.
