For the past months, the queuing was insane, you have to wait for 15-20minutes. But finally got a chance to taste Malaysian food in the heart of CBD.

We had the weekday lunch specials: sambal sotong rice and kari ikan with rice. The portion, flavour and price were decent. The sambal sotong was indeed fiery, aromatic and flavorful. The kari ikan had rich savoury curry flavour. Best to pair with ice cold “cham” or cendol.

Mee goreng was delicious, as Malaysian normal mamak stall standard. Ingredients was generous with 6 beacurb, 5 prawns, 1 slice of tomato abd 3 slices of cucumber. Sauce was good as well. 2 stars

I went to this place and ordered the skewers and to be honest, I would not recommend them at all. 6 Skewers for $19.00 that looked and tasted very ordinary. Thin pieces of what looked like deep fried chicken stretches down the top third of a long skewer. Looking around at other plates it looks like there may have been nicer dishes, but based on what I ordered and received, I am not sure I would give this place another go.

Been meaning to check this place out. Didn’t have a booking but didn’t need one on this occasion. Came just before 1 pm on a Monday & was reading the menu outside. One of the staff members came out to greet me & asked if I wanted seat. She was more than happy to share her recommendations with me when I asked. A jug of water and 2 glasses were placed on the table straight away. You can order your meal using the barcode on the table or you can get a 5% discount if you pay with cash. I was pleased to see lunch specials were offered. The crispy chicken dish we ordered indicated it would take 15 mins. This was handy information to put on a menu & helped us make a decision. The meal was freshly prepared using quality ingredients. All the staff looked Malaysian which added to the authenticity. The chicken was generously seasoned. There was so much flavour in the batter & it wasn’t oily even though it was deep fried. Generous portion size and quick service. I could taste the fresh ginger in my drink. I can’t wait to go back to check out the other menu items.

Pretty good Malaysian food, and I enjoyed what I had, which was the lamb martabak and teh tarik. There isn’t a whole lot of options though, food-wise, compared to many other Malaysian places.

I enjoyed the food here. The curry was amazing and the chicken was very very tender. I loved how it fell off the bone. However I did not like the use of fish sauce, I have to admit it’s a personal thing. I struggle with the pungent smell and had to take away my food and eat outside. That being said, the customer service of the location was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and I appreciated it greatly. It is a lovely restaurant.
