Okay I usually come here for lunch but these portion sizes are getting ridiculous. You’re paying 10.9 for such a small.portion – they’ve literally reduced the portion size by 35 %! I understand cost of raw materials but this is just taking the mick.

This franchise is so hit and miss at Karrinyup. Depending on the time you order will depend on how little fillings they put in your burrito. If it’s busy you’ll get three slivers of lettuce, they won’t drain the beans and just slap it on. When it’s busy the size of a regular burrito is the same as a small. There is absolutely no consistency. Staff are usually pretty nice but that’s about it… (Best mad Mex Joondalup)

I’ve never had dia-re-yah so bad…. I got a beef burrito. It tasted like tinned dog food and had the same texture, should’ve taken that as a bad sign! The sour cream was the same consistency as water… I assume they’ve been watering it down but that’s cross contamination, I know I got sick from this stall because that’s the only food I ate that day.

Went to karrinyup shopping centre and forgot about the time during shopping. By the time I realised that I should eat something all the food outlets were almost closed and when I went to mad max the girls were so humble they offered to make me a bowl and I must say that was delicious and even healthy too . Will look forward to try many more. Gracious.

Felt liked got scammed from here today. After ordered the food from the counter and walked to the cashier and got charged for another 10% for Easter Sunday inside food court. The sign should be up both side including ordering counter. Ended up paying $16.90 for a small portion meal. Not worth money at all.

Consistency is the key to franchise food, I’ve been eating mad mex for 8yrs, Melb has the best restaurants, done Qld and now WA, while having the best tasting recipes, the most important things is to make sure the operation of each shop holds service and passion to produce excellence in the product, although staffing issues can always be a challenge it shouldn’t mean the Mad Mex experience should suffer. Skilled trained staff is a must. Keep working towards improving. Good luck

Outrageously overpriced. Ordered a type of grilled wrap with incredibly stingy dob of meat and some onion, cheese, lettuce and spur cream….and nearly choked on the price of $14, which would be about $2 per bite. Won’t be back. Also notice a lot of people with Indian surnames and people with the Patel surname putting a lot of 5-star reviews for this place which obviously looks suss.
