I loved it, plenty of options in the menu, perfect mixed of flavors and an amazing quick service. One of the best place that I’ve known on my road trip.

Our family ate lunch here on a recent roadtrip to Canberra. We ordered combination noodles, chicken curry and a beef dish. We love them all, very generous in size and great taste. I asked for less meat and extra veges in our dishes, and they come out as requested. The service is friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is clean. The interior of the restaurant is dated and it could benefit from better lighting to create a well-lit atmosphere.

Passing through Yass & looking for a bite to eat. Found “Liens Vietnamese restaurant ” on Google with good reviews, so we thought, why not try.

It’s ok. The menu is long. It’s Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese. It would be better if they pick on of the cuisines and master that. The Vietnamese dishes were the best. Thai green curry was ordinary. There are very few vegetarian options. If they were to focus on one cuisine the result will be hopefully better. The decor is dated but place is clean. The staff were friendly. It’s not licensed and BYO only.

Ordered takeaway that was horrendous 2 mouthfuls and in the bin. Fried rice and chicken peanuts that were inedible. If I could give a minus score I would. Take your life into your own hands eating there

I love their food and their service. I still have not found a place that I believe tastes better than Lein.

Am I disappointed?, yes I am…… I ordered the food via the phone and the reason that the restaurant received 2 stars was because of the friendly costumer service I received on that phone call. I ordered the honey chicken, sweet and sour pork, Mongolian lamb and a fried rice. All dishes were very watery and the Mongolian lamb tasted like soy sauce with a side of onion, although the other two dishes and rice were able to be eaten I was quite unsatisfied. We got to the restaurant and asked to eat inside as the sign said they were closing in 40 minutes but I was told that they had already closed. If desperate yes you can eat their food but do I recommend, no I don’t.

Dinner on the way home from Canberra. What it lacks in atmosphere, it makes up in other ways. Taste, cleanliness, staff friendliness and quick turnaround time. We’ll be back.
