Chips are always great. Had the nuggets once which were great. Had battered fish with salad another time and that was good too, huge portion and delicious tartare sauce. A small portion of chips was enough for 2 people. Great service, short waiting time. Will be back.

It is expensive for what it is. $12.50 Chips were terrible. Even the fresh chips tasted stale, and crumbed sausage was of leather. Fish was not worth $17.90 ×3 . Tartar sauce was homemade, not the normal sauce, tasted bland,grainy, just plain gross $3.00. I called and complained. They replaced the chips and 1x sausage. Will not be back to spend $76

Do not go here. The burgers came without burger. 1 portion of Chicken nuggets is 1 single nugget. A small portion of spring rolls is 1 single spring roll. The chips were soggy. Very disappointing. Worst fish&chip restaurant (if you can even call it that) I have ever ordered from. $150 worth $0.

After experiencing an extremely rude young woman at the counter who served us. When we changed our 2 fish burgers to fish wraps she scrunched the receipt up and threw behind her, we only just changed our mind. Nothing like it was already made or anything. Then when getting home & looking at our wraps, there was 2 pieces of fish on 1 wrap & only salad on the other. I had called the shop & asked to speak to the manager/owner, after receiving a response that they were busy and couldn’t talk, I mention how the fish was all mixed up, the young girl once again rude, huffed and puffed on the phone yelling ***ggggrr**** “really?!” And saying that the manager would call me back. Took me number and name but never called back. I wont ever go here again, hasn’t been the 1st time I’ve experienced this here & I’m a local of Mareeba. I’m sure alot of people wouldnt appreciate such arrogance. Get better staff or keep her out the back!

Nothing to get excited about here – the food wasn’t bad (not great either) but terrible value for money at around $20 per person. Fish, power, rent and transport costs must be sky high. None the less the store needs attention as it’s bland and outdated. Won’t be rushing back here anytime soon.

One of the few places in Mareeba open on a Sunday afternoon. Received courteous, professional and friendly service. My Mackerel, chips and salad arrived quickly and was great. The only thing that prevented it from being excellent and me rating it 5 stars was the fact that it had been cooked a bit too long so the fish was a tad dry. That’s really my only criticism, the batter was light and crispy and the chips were crispy outside and fluffy inside. Four and a half stars would be more accurate if I could give them.

Great chips although the serving size is a bit small for the price, also had battered mackerel a lot of that blood on the fillet dark meat ? think they should clean their fish a little bit more.

Always get served quickly and for a fish and chips shop pay great attention to detail with presentation on a salad. They call ur number but go the extra step of coming out to you to hand it to you personally. Keep up the great work
