This is my go-to when I want a proper meal between 3 and 5pm on a weekend… when almost everything else in Melbourne is closed. I love the potato salad, my nonna used make a really similar one. We usually get the lasagna but I’ve also tried the home made schnitzels and a bunch of other dishes. Can’t fault it. Home style Italian food.

Arguably one of the worst meals I’ve had. Came for lunch with my girlfriend. Ordered one bolognese, one Sicilian fettuccine and a salad. The waiter/chef, who had dirt under his finger nails, brought our cutlery over and placed it down by the part you eat from, disgusting. The water glasses we were given were dirty, as were the glasses served with our San Pellegrino.

Well, I cannot begin to tell you how bad the food is from La Lucciola. Our pasta’s were microwaved quality; the bacon in my pasta was burnt and there wasn’t any sauce in pasta (just dry supermarket grade pasta). Paid $70 for 2x pasta’s and 2 cans of soft drink. Whoever posts more than 1 star reviews of this establishment probably doesn’t leave the house very often and highly rates canned spaghetti. Woeful

Had a Fettuccine Bolognese which was very nice and delicious. Staff were friendly however the food took a bit of time to arrive. Still give it 5 stars and would definitely go back again!

The place is cozy and the staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, the food is on the ok side. Doesn’t taste as fresh, actually came out too fast to have been done fresh. One of the dishes was a pasta and was cold like coming out of the fridge. Which is dangerous in terms of food safety. Overall below average and disappointing.
