Went for lunch today. 1 had the eggs Benedict which was very nice however 2 of us had the chicken satay burger which was very average. It had pickled onions with the lettuce and tomato and the juice had made the brioche bun go soggy and burger tasted more of brine than satay. Satay sauce was runny. Suggest the pickled onions be left out and satay sauce only to give better texture and not runny. Staff were excellent and nice coffee.

The same animals you can pat out the back, they serve on their menu, which is very messed up (cognitive dissonance at it’s finest). But it’s a very pretty cafe.

Enjoyed our first visit for lunch on Friday and were delighted with the experience. There was quite a chilly breeze but we were soon warm & comfortable when given blankets for our knees and our table was positioned between 2 heaters. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will certainly return and have already told all our friends to visit. Thank you for a most enjoyable day.

A sunny saturday morn in brisbane’s samford valley is always delightful and so was the alfresco ambience in cafe lagarto. Nestled in the lifestyle centre on mt glorious road. It is well worth a visit. We ordered a simple eggs based breakfast as a safe option, coconut, mango, passionfruit and pineapple smoothie and they didn’t disappoint. Breakfast guests are treated with live local music. Simply dulcet vocals and keyboard; adding a lovely touch. Recommend for breakfast, but will definitely come back to try their lunch menu.

Went for a family breakfast with wife, adult kids and 7 year old. Signage made it a bit tricky to find because it’s tucked in with a heap of other small boutiques. Great atmosphere and food. One of my kids is a Coeliac and the gluten free options were great. Not a huge variety on menu (not a negative at all) but we were more than satisfied and found something we all loved.

Amazing service and food available in a great setting. Make sure to allow time before or after you meal to check out the garden and book shops, and of course the farm walk out the back. Bring some gold coins as a donation to go on the farm walk but it is well worth it
